Trev's Beach Party

Trevor's first grade class had their end of the year "beach party" today at school. See him in the back row? The tall one...

I had to bribe them to get the picture above. "If you let me take a nice one, then we can do a silly one." I think this one shows their personality a little bit better. Ha! Notice Tyson making a mad dash in the background. :-)

Mrs. Scott is an awesome teacher! We will miss her next year! She really instilled a love for learning a love for the Lord in her classroom. Trev learned a ton this year! I can honestly say that Trevor never had one bad day in school. Every single day was great! Thanks, Mrs. Scott!

Alleluia! 1 more day of school! Yahoo!

Explorer Ty

Tyson went to the doctor for his 4 year old physical. He weighs 48 lbs! He is in the 75% for height and the 90% for weight. He's growing like a weed these days!

Ty was SO brave at his appointment. He had to get 3 shots. She gave him the first shot and he did ok. She did the second one and he looked at me like "that one hurt". By the time she got the third one ready he was ready to be done and didn't want any more. However, he was so good and didn't even cry! I was one proud parent!

He got to pick out 4 stickers at the doctor's office. He got one for each shot and one for his check up. Sweet Tyson picked 2 for him and 2 to give to his brother! You can see the stickers on his shirt. Because he did so great, I gave him a young explorer backpack filled with goodies. (I had found it on clearance at a teacher store for $7!) He was thrilled! He clipped on every item to the belt and went out looking for bugs!

Ty's last day of 4yr. old preschool was last week. Here he is with his teachers, Mrs. Sutton and Mrs. Kurtz, and his best friend, Jimmy!

Pre-K here I come!

Trevor's First Game

This is Trevor's first year to play baseball. He never did t-ball. This year the coaches pitch to the kids. His team is made up of 1st and 2nd graders. Trevor is so glad that many of his friends from school are on his team.

Trevor's dad is so proud! I think he has been waiting for this moment since we found out on ultrasound that we were having a boy! Adam loves to help coach. It is so fun to watch them play!

Trevor is pretty good at bat! He can get a hit almost every time!

Trevor was awarded with the first game ball of the season! He was playing third base and missed a ball, but he didn't give up! He ran after it and made the out in time! Adam said he had "cat like reflexes"! Way to go Trevor!

Mothers' Day Brunch with Trev

Trevor's class held a special brunch for the moms last week. We shared such a nice time together!

Trevor was given an award! His teacher compared him to Aaron in the Bible because he is helpful and supportive to others! Ahhh! We are very proud of him!

After our brunch, his class did a play. Trevor was a big, bad shark! He did such a great job delivering his lines! He was quite animated and funny! Hmmmm...wonder where he gets that? He was the star of the show!

Kitchen Redo

Here are some before pics of my kitchen. We painted the old golden oak!

It took forever and it was a lot of hard work, but it was worth it!

Ta-Da! It is cleaner, brighter, and more updated looking.

Next will be the counter tops...and the sink...and the faucet...and that means plumbing... It never ends!

Grandparents Day

Grandma and Nana were nice enough to make the trip to Chicago to go to Grandparents Day with Trevor! He felt pretty special to have them both there!

Tyson's Spring Musical was that same day!

Tyson was a "little green speckled frog" in the play.

He loves to sing and dance as you can tell in this picture! Go Ty! Get Down!

ARRRRR!

We took a pirate cruise with the boys today!

Adam got pulled from the crowd this time to help entertain the audience! He was tied up with rope and dragged around the ship. Ty did not think this was funny. He wasn't quite sure what to make of these pirates...

Luckily, they did not make him walk the plank!
